The WEF Clinical Foundation was established in 2005 by Dr. Wilbert E. Frank, the CEO of WEF Clinical, a leading full-service Contract Research Organization (CRO) based in Romania. The foundation was inspired by a deeply personal and heart-wrenching event in Dr. Frank’s life—the death of his daughter Anna, who was born with Anencephaly and lived only for a few hours. Driven by the profound impact of this tragedy, Dr. Frank founded the WEF Clinical Foundation with a mission to make a difference in the lives of children suffering from serious medical conditions.

Our foundation is dedicated to providing financial support for the treatment of children with various medical needs and advancing clinical research to find cures for challenging health conditions.
